As part of our efforts to introduce students to the best ideas and brightest minds, we invite Northeastern University undergraduates to join us for dinner with Professor Jana Cephas, after her public talk "Technology and the Making and Re-Making of Cities," Professor Cephas will be speaking as part of our ongoing Seminar on Leadership, Research, and Innovation 2019.

The dinner will feature a small, intimate conversation with Professor Cephas hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Research and Fellowships. Undergraduates are expected to come armed with questions and ready to converse. Professor Cephas is a designer and historian who studies interactions between people, places, and technologies. She is the founding director of Studio Plat, and her critical work focuses on questions such as the way twentieth-century technologies that intertwined mass production and mass consumption had spacial and social consequences for cities, particularly Detroit.
